In the Lanificio di Stia an exhibition dedicated to the Arno river On Saturday 8 October (11:30 am) at the Lanificio di Stia the exhibition "Luce d'Arno" will be inaugurated.

Rediscovering the River "organized by the La Corte cultural association under the patronage of the Tuscany Region and the Municipalities of Pratovecchio Stia, Signa and Fiesole and the collaboration of the Luigi and Simonetta Lombard Foundation. Born an idea of ​​Carlo Valentini, with the artistic direction of Rosanna Tempestini Frizzi, the exhibition consists of a set of photographs, paintings and sculptures that represent a journey along the Arno and a reflection on the role of the river as a cradle of civilization, workplace and human environment.

A scientific and artistic laboratory on the theme of water and community in the area where the Arno is born and in place symbol of the production history of the Alto Casentinese commune. In the suggestive "vaulted hall" of the Lanificio on display the works of Angelo Barone, Giuseppe Biagi, Giuseppe Cabras, Federico Cacciapaglia, Luca de Silva, Paolo Fabiani, Robert Gligorov, Aroldo Marinai, Andrea Marini, Paolo Masi, Luca Matti, Roberto Pupi , Mariateresa Sartori, Paolo Staccioli, Tayu Vlietstra with Duccio Ricciardelli, Stefano Turrini, Carlo Valentini.
