The turbines, "the wave" and the arrangement of the Lombard square.

The old turbines and the water path, from the piping under pressure to the drainage channel in the stream, are one of the most interesting elements. To remember and highlight the function of water in the history of the factory, and, in particular to restore the old turbines that supplied electricity to the factory, a glazed wave was created on the Lombard square with titanium-zinc panels , which contains the new power plant with the old turbines. The old turbines and the water path, from the piping under pressure to the drainage channel in the stream, are one of the most interesting elements.

In 2014, the large wheel was also built, powered by the drainage channel, an element in continuous movement on the large square, in memory of the ancient "wooden cassette wheel of the Tintoria", which operated the pulleys of the frames in the nineteenth century. . The project and the direction of the works were taken care of by the Comes architecture and engineering firm of Sesto Fiorentino.
